1. Accepted Payment Methods
- Payment Options: MediationPay Escrow accepts a variety of payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, digital wallets, and cryptocurrency (where available).
- Currency: All payments must be made in the currency specified during the transaction process unless otherwise stated.
- Third-Party Processors: Some payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. By using such services, you agree to the terms and conditions of the payment processor in addition to MediationPay Escrow’s policies.
2. Fees and Charges
- Escrow Service Fees: A service fee is charged on each transaction, calculated as a percentage of the total transaction amount or as a fixed fee based on the type of service.
- Fee Disclosure: Fees are displayed to both parties before initiating a transaction and are non-refundable except in special cases as outlined below.
- Additional Costs: Users may incur additional charges from their financial institutions or payment processors. MediationPay Escrow is not responsible for such charges.
3. Refund Policy
- Service Fees: MediationPay Escrow’s service fees are non-refundable once the transaction is completed. In cases where a transaction is canceled prior to completion, a partial refund of the service fee may be available, subject to review.
- Dispute-Related Refunds: In the event of a transaction dispute, funds will be handled in accordance with our Dispute Resolution Policy. Funds may be returned to the buyer or held in escrow pending resolution.
- Technical Errors: If an error occurs during a transaction due to a technical issue, please contact our support team within 48 hours. We will review the transaction and determine eligibility for a refund on a case-by-case basis.
4. Deposit and Release of Funds
- Deposit Requirements: Upon agreement of terms, the buyer must deposit the agreed amount into escrow. Funds will be securely held until transaction conditions are met.
- Fund Release Conditions: Funds will only be released once both parties confirm that the terms of the transaction have been met. The seller may not request early release unless the buyer consents.
- Automatic Release: If the buyer does not respond to release requests within a specified period (as outlined in the transaction agreement), funds may be released automatically to the seller.
5. Transaction Disputes
- Dispute Handling: In cases where one party claims a breach of agreement, MediationPay Escrow will review and mediate the dispute per our Dispute Resolution Policy.
- Resolution Timeframe: Dispute resolution may take up to [X business days/weeks] to complete, depending on the complexity of the issue.
- Refund During Dispute: Funds in dispute remain in escrow until a resolution is reached. Refunds may be issued based on the outcome of the dispute.

- Unauthorized Use: Users must take all necessary precautions to secure their accounts and payment information. MediationPay Escrow is not responsible for unauthorized transactions resulting from user negligence.
7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
- Chargebacks: If a user initiates a chargeback or payment dispute with their financial institution, MediationPay Escrow reserves the right to temporarily suspend the user’s account and transaction until the matter is resolved.
- Account Review: Accounts with a history of chargebacks may be subject to review or suspension from the platform.
8. Changes to the Payment Policy
- MediationPay Escrow may update this Payment Policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
